Sloth & Wildlife Tour

Slow down, look up and discover one of Costa Rica’s most iconic animals.

Our Sloth Tour in La Fortuna is a wildlife-focused experience designed to introduce you to the fascinating world of sloths and the tropical ecosystem they inhabit.

During an approximately 1.5 km nature walk, your local guide will help you search the trees and vegetation for two-toed and three-toed sloths while teaching you how to recognize their behavior, adaptations and preferred habitats.

But the sloths are only part of the experience.

As we explore the rainforest, we will also keep an eye out for tropical birds, monkeys, reptiles, frogs, insects and other wildlife that may appear along the trail.

Wildlife observation requires patience and attention. Rather than rushing through the forest, we take the time to look carefully, listen to the surroundings and appreciate the animals in their natural environment.
