What's Included in Every Experience

All four tours include a professional bilingual guide, admission to the park or activity location, and personal attention. Flashlights are included when the tour requires them. Transportation is not included. Meeting-point details and arrival instructions are shared before the activity is confirmed.

Private Tours and Small-Group Experiences

Boana Travel has experience with both formats, but they are not the same. A private tour is arranged for one specific group, while a small-group experience may be shared with other participants. The available format must be confirmed based on the tour, date, and number of travelers. Not every tour should automatically be presented as private.

What a nice tour close to the Arenal area but far from the mad crowds of La Fortuna! Their rain forest has everything: sloths, howler monkeys, birds and a great volcano view point too. Our guide Miller was super kind and very knowledgeable, and so was Francela at the reception. Highly recommended!

It was honestly one the best experiences we had in Costa Rica! There were two guides and the group was divided in two, so only my friend and I went with the guide which made it possible to see so many things and ask so mny questions. Our guide Eric was truly knowledgable and we learned so much! We were able to see many frog and toad species, stick bugs, leaf bugs, many lizards and snakes, and even a wolly possum which was so adorable. Truly amazing totally recomend!

Hicimos el safari nocturno en el Arenal con Eric. Aún no terminamos nuestro viaje por Costa Rica, pero hasta ahora, ha sido nuestro tour favorito de todo el viaje. Eric es un guía fantástico: agradable, gracioso y sobre todo se ve que controla el ecosistema animal y vegetal. Nos respondió varias dudas que no habían sido resueltas por otros guías y nos dotó de información extra muy interesante durante todo el recorrido. A pesar de los días lluviosos que tuvimos, esa noche con el conocimiento de Eric pudimos ver serpientes, ranas, arañas y escorpiones. Eric en todo momento se mostró servicial y dispuesto a ayudar (hace unas fotos increíbles). Si puedes elegir tu guía, pregunta por Eric, que sin duda es el mejor.

Wildlife, Great guides, 100% recommend This was a fantastic experience. On time hotel pickup, friendly and very funny guide Eddy, and we saw snakes; a variety of them, red eyed frogs, scorpions, spiders, freshwater crabs, stick bugs, butterflies and moths, fireflies; he told us to turn off all of our lights for a beautiful night view. We were given lamps, and he offered to take amazing photos for us and it was truly a great experience.. i had a 6 years old with me who was happy and taken care of! 100% would do it again.
